Rock formations part 3
Cruz is holding our class demonstration of an igneous rock. We used heat to melt chocolate and marshmallows.
Not pictured is a sedimentary rock. We looked at a Snickers bar cut in half and identified the various layers.

Did you know we made "rocks" this week. Using various edible items the students simulated rock formations. Here are some students using starbursts to make metamorphic rocks. A lot of time and pressure were used!
