Website

Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Allen, has been coming weekly to talk to the children about being a good listener.  One website she used the children were very interested in accessing at home.  I have used this site for other skills and I think it would be great practice.  If you get a chance check out EAROBICS!

Leveled Books

If you haven't already done so, you should check out the "Useful Links" tab at the top of our web page.  There are a few links to help with finding on level books for your child. 

I think the most useful one is the Education Place link.  You can narrow books down by level and topic.  They can read right online or you can print them out to read more than once.

Play around with some of the sites including the AR book finder.  You can look up a specific book to see if your child should read it independently or you can search by topic and age range.

Remember, at this point in the year I only want to see books that your child has read on their own.  You should still read books with them, but they will only by rewarded for books read on their own.
