I had some parents asking me about AR over the summer. Since this is a program purchased by the school, it can only be accessed at school. I did find what seems to be another great site to monitor your child's comprehension on books. Best of all, it's FREE! I glanced at a few of the pages, but it seems simillar to AR where children take a test and earn points. It will be up to you whether you want to set up a reward system at home. This would be a great way to keep your child accountable as to whether they are truly reading and understanding books this summer. Here's the site:
